Park City is a state favorite for fashion and events – and this year they are pairing the two at the Kimball Arts Festival Opening Gala.
This annual fundraising event marks the beginning of the Park City Kimball Arts Festival which highlights artists – and usually includes boutique sales and trunk shows. This year, the Gala has peaked our interest with their fashion show sponsored by Farasha Boutique, Matrix, OC Tanner and Porche Design.
We don’t want to give too much away, but this Gatsby-inspired show features designers including:
Italian designer | Danilo Gabrieli
Chicago designer | Borris Powell
NYC designer | Allison Parris
NYC designer | Jia
German designers | Porche Design
& San Francisco head piece designer | Jax Hatz
In addition to these magnificent designers, our own Utah locals will be walking the runway in headpieces by Danani and looks by Sophie St. Claire and Nephi Garcia. The men will also be outfitted in Perfectly Suited by Garth.
Fashion Utah contributor Gentri Lee and I were lucky enough to stop by the Farasha Boutique showroom to catch a glimpse at what’s in store. The looks include delicate fabrics and modern, yet vintage-inspired details. And of course, in true flapper fashion, the headpieces will be unforgettable between the beadwork and feathered sophistication.
Tickets are limited, but if you act quickly, we may be lusting over these runway looks together this Thursday night at Deer Valley.
The 44th annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival will open with a gala featuring a cocktail reception, a seated dinner and both a silent and live auction. High West Distillery will provide whiskey tasting and there will also be the anticipated 1920’s inspired fashion show. All proceeds from the gala will go to the Kimball Arts Center. More information about the gala and the Park City Kimball Arts Festival can be found here.
