The Pedaling Nomad: The Pedaling Nomad is an innovative online fashion retailer that sells an assortment of affordable, high-quality clothing and accessories for men and women. Basically, a group of people with the same passion for fashion and business came together with a goal in mind. With a lot of work and time, we achieved this goal and created a fabulous online store called The Pedaling Nomad.
Fashion Utah: Where does the name The Pedaling Nomad come from?
The Pedaling Nomad: Definition of Nomad (from Dictionary.com): a member of a people or tribe that has no permanent abode but moves about from place to place; wanderer; itinerant.
When we came across the definition for Nomad, we couldn’t help but think how perfectly it fit with our company. We are always on the lookout for fresh ideas and we are constantly changing our site and direction to give people something new to look at every week. The Pedaling Nomad is simply our take on the idea of a sort of “fashion nomad,” which is exactly what we want to encourage in our customers.

The Pedaling Nomad: An awesome quality of a good online store is the fact that you don’t have to go anywhere to buy some reasonably priced, high-quality clothing. Fashion Utah: How would you describe The Pedaling Nomad’s style?
The Pedaling Nomad: The Pedaling Nomad’s style is fun and innovative. It’s everything that is trending with our own twist. We carry a large assortment of products, including maxi dresses, colored jeans, short shorts, dress shirts, blouses, slacks, and even T-shirts. It’s everything anyone can look for in a good shopping experience, and it’s getting better every day with new products coming in.
Fashion Utah: Who do you envision shopping on your site?
The Pedaling Nomad: Initially, we targeted college students and other people in that age range, but to our pleasant surprise, we have already had many customers in much older age ranges and much younger. It’s been awesome to see those of several different ages buying our clothes, and we love that we can cater to all kinds of people.
Fashion Utah: Do you have any products made in Utah or by Utah designers?
The Pedaling Nomad: Currently, all of our inventory is imported from China, but they are hand-picked and styled right here in Utah. Soon, we will create our own line using local designers. We are searching for fresh, new ideas for our lines and are always looking for potential designers, especially from Utah.

Fashion Utah: What sizes do you typically carry?
The Pedaling Nomad: We carry most standard sizes, ranging from XS-XL. Of course, it can vary for each product, and each of our products will have more diverse sizes as time goes on. One common size type that tends to cause some confusion is our “One Size Fits All” or “One Size Fits Most.” The reason we carry such items is that they are currently all the rage in the Asian market, and we want to provide the US with this awesome product. It usually applies to blouses. Trust us when we say that these are awesome, but to quell any doubt, we include the exact measurements for each of these products.
Fashion Utah: Do you have any Pedaling Nomad styling tips for the summer?
The Pedaling Nomad: Recently, a study rated Salt Lake City as the 2nd worst dressed city in the U.S.. Gasp! This actually was the reason we started our blog, The Nomad, in order to give some really great fashion tips as well as information on us. In addition to styling tips, we have several DIY’s and guest bloggers.
Fashion Utah: Do you have any online shopping tips?
The Pedaling Nomad: Our online shopping tip is go for it! If it’s an awesome price with a great deal and a fabulous piece of clothing, then buy it! If you receive it in the mail and it doesn’t fit you just right, you can always return it and get a refund. Many online clothing companies, especially us, are very accommodating and take having fantastic customer service very seriously. Don’t hold back! You’ve got nothing to lose.
